Since 1986, Sécurlite has been supplying intelligent and durable lighting solutions to architects, consultants and projects owners such as housing associations, local authorities and public transport operators.
Since the beginning, we have been committed to turning our environmental and social convictions into concrete actions. Thus, in 2009, we became one of the founding members of PEP Ecopassport, a leading international program set up to mitigate the adverse environmental impacts of the electrical and electronics industries. In parallel with our environmental action, we formed a partnership with the La Ferté-Bernard ESAT (an organisation that promotes caring through employment) in 2012, which means that we have been working with handicapped people on a day-to-day basis for more than 10 years. In 2013, we performed our first life cycle analyses (LCA), in order to adopt a more efficient environmental approach.
As a pioneer in our sector of activity, we are continually looking to improve our processes at every level in the value chain of our products, from the sourcing of raw materials to the recycling or upcycling of the end-products. We have successfully integrated the environmental and social challenges into our business model, by focusing our activity around a commitment to provide sustainable lighting.
We are constantly striving to innovate so as to best meet the performance requirements of environmentally accountable lighting.
Our approach has now received a significant boost thanks to Sécurlite becoming part of the Rivalen group, itself became a company with a mission since April 2022.
This status, which imposes concrete commitments upon us in our capacity as a company of the group, will enhance our CSR approach, with the help of our employees, who are inspired on a day-to-day basis by our values of daring, team spirit, thoughtfulness and humility.

Sécurlite is a company of the Rivalen group, based in Ferté-Bernard in France’s Sarthe district, specialising in lighting for social housing and public spaces since 1986.
The company has extensive expertise in producing resilient and vandalproof lighting, especially for the common parts of social housing estates and other public facilities.
Sécurlite’s lamps consist of high-efficiency LED modules incorporating intelligent presence detection systems, both of which are designed and manufactured in our factory.
Our luminaires are highly resistant to impacts, with ratings ranging from IK10 to IK11++, and feature securely locked casings.
Our lighting solutions are particularly suited to environments with high rates of delinquency and vandalism, thanks to the use of robust materials such as polycarbonate, cast aluminium and stainless steel.
